A new process has been established regarding the proper approval and support of new products and services that are desired by individuals, groups, and/or buildings. This process includes the purchasing of software.

 This is a list of currently supported software programs and operating systems used on school district computers. The Technology department will only support the programs when used with the following operating systems: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Mac OS 10.2.8 and higher. We are currently testing Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard).

 This policy pertains to software that will be purchased for 10 computers or less. It is the responsibility of the person who would like to purchase the software to follow these guidelines before purchasing.

 This policy describes the procedures that should be followed when choosing a curriculum that has software that will need to be installed or online components that will need to be subscribed to.
Software/Online Environment Evaluation
 This form is only to be completed upon recommendation from the New Resource Request Committee. Please click on the New Resource Request link for more information.
Please click on the Evaluation Form link to start the evaluation process of the software you would like to purchase. This form should be completed by staff that is looking at purchasing more than 10 licenses of a particular software program, subscribing to an online website that will be used by more than 10 students at a time, or are looking at textbooks that include software or a website that you will subscribe to. Technology will not support the software or online environment if it has not been approved through this process. This is a long process and can take several weeks before an approval or disapproval of the software is made.
