Each school in the Bismarck Public School system has an organization of parents and guardians and staff which serve as a forum for the sharing of ideas and discussion of school-related issues, encourages parental participation, and supports and enhances the educational process at the school.

Parent organizations sponsor great events like Ice Cream Socials, Family Movie/Fun/Bingo Night or Carnivals. These events are a great way to meet new friends and enjoy some time with your kids. Be sure to check the calendar on your school website regularly! Notices for all events may also come home in your child's backpack on your school newsletter.
Get Involved!
Research shows that children whose parents are involved get better grades, do better on tests, and have fewer discipline problems in school. Parent organizations offer lots of opportunities for parents to get involved. Do a little, do a lot - just do something!
